Does anyone know about hydraulics on a new holland 477 haybine?
If necessary I'll update the post with photos and video but basically on my haybine hydraulic cylinder there's a little hole that had a cotterpin in it. When you raise the hydraulic all the way up, fluid would spurt out when it gets to the top.
Now, it's been spraying way too much. I got it to finally hold with a new cotterpin but I have no idea if that's even how that's supposed to be configured and it's not on the diagram for the haybine on the new holland website.
The hole the cotterpin goes in isn't threaded from what I can see, and if you plug it completely it doesn't even raise, so fluid does have to spurt out a little. It's gotta be tight enough to hold but if it's too loose it leaks and doesn't hold pressure.
Thanks for any help
