ACHA: Engaging early towards a just and sustainable future.
ACHA, which means "sister" in Tibetan, is an online educational platform that connects youth from around the world on issues relevant to sustainable development. You can find all our current and upcoming projects at www.getacha.com.
We recently launched our "How Can I Help? Magnetic Bookmarks with ACHA Stories" Kickstarter Campaign. Our bookmarks are made in the U.S. with 100% recycled paper and have unique codes (per character) which young readers can use to unlock ACHA stories on our website. These interactive digital stories focus on young girls leading in science, environment, technology, arts, civil advocacy and healthy living. The goal of our bookmarks is to use creativity and technology in storytelling to promote gender equality, diversity, and awareness amongst youth. We plan to have them available in certain bookstores across New York City in late 2017, but are using the Kickstarter campaign as a way for people to pre-order these bookmarks and learn more about our other projects, including a podcast and a scholarship program for young girls that currently supports 12 candidates.
Your support and or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
